The Subway Cloverleaf Junction of Yincheng Central Road
in Pudong Built up and Open to Traffic

The subway cloverleaf junction project of Yincheng Central Road in Pudong, of which Shanghai Lujiazui Development (Group) Company Ltd. is responsible for implementing the construction, has been entirely finished. The project has formally begun to be open to traffic on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Pudong's Development and opening to the world. Located inside the minor Lujiazui of Pudong New Area, the subway cloverleaf junction of Yincheng Central Road starts from Dongyuan Road in the north and ends to Huayuan Shiqiao Road in the south with the full length of about 430 meters and the clear width of 9.9 meters. Two driveways are set up on the road junction. As the subway must pass through the middle layer between the tunnel of Yan'an Road and the Metro Line 2, the hidden embedment section of the subway is about 130 meters. The difficulty for construction was very great. In order to ensure the safety of the Metro Line 2 above the subway and the tunnel of Yan'an East Road, the Tunnel Engineering Designing Academy of Shanghai and the construction units of the Urban Tunnel Company overcame a lot of difficulties and solved many difficult problems in technology. They have ensured the engineering quality and successfully completed the construction task before the tenth anniversary of Pudong's Development.

The subway cloverleaf junction project of Yincheng Central Road and the longest subway cloverleaf junction with "Y" shape in Pudong, open to traffic at the fiftieth anniversary of the National Day last year, have formed up the important three-D traffic network in Lujiazui Central Financial. This will not only play an active role in improving the traffic conditions of Lujiazui Central District Financial District and other surrounding areas, but also create the favorable conditions for optimizing the investment environment.
